For organizations distributing TEFAP or CSFP (senior food boxes), the USDA requires that all staff and volunteers who interact with people served, even one-time volunteers, complete Civil Rights Training BEFORE distributing food, and then once every year. Connecticut Foodshare partners must also keep records showing when each staff member or volunteer completed their training.
- Complete the training by (English) clicking here (Spanish) clicking here to access the Civil Rights Training.
- Once you have read the training document, please complete this form.
- Upon completion of this form, a Certificate of Civil Rights Training will be emailed to you as a PDF and the lead contact at your organization if you provide their email on this form or you can forward a copy to the appropriate person at your organization.
